The "Laboratory Product Group" division of Thermo Fisher Scientific is the owner of several well-known old legacy brand names in the life science industry: Forma, Labsystems, Savant, Finnpipette, Kendro, Sorvall, Heraeus and Revco are some of the most well-known on the equipment side. Nunc, Nalgene, Matrix and MBP are completing the range on the consumable side.

The "Analytical Instruments" division of Thermo Fisher Scientific is specialized in the following techniques: Mass Spectrometry: LC-MS (Iontrap and Triple Quadrupoles), Orbitrap, IRMS. Chromatography: (U)HPLC, nano-LC, IC, cap-IC, Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE), Chromatography Data System (CDS-Chromeleon). Spectroscopy: AAS, ICP, ICP-MS, HR-ICP-MS.
